ALIS 2020

Following on from the 2009 Scottish Survey of Adult Literacies, in October 2010 the Scottish Government published a Literacy Action Plan to help deliver its vision to raise standards of literacy. This has been followed by Adult Literacies in Scotland 2020: Strategic Guidance which outlines more detailed plans to improve literacies capabilities of Scotland's adults over the next 10 year.

The Life in Great Britain on-line resource, to help enable people to prepare for the UK Citizenship Test, is now available. It can be accessed by any member of Highland Libraries by using their library card number.
